Where would one buy these tiny clock gears?

Cheers,

Hello Bob

Go to junk shop or flea market or try a watch repairer.

Cheers

Hi Wojtek

As you can see I am speechless!!
These rudders are tapering - etched from thick material and then filed down? And coming back to the wheels, I should have asked for the tires, kit items hollowed out? And the little rims for the etched spokes - added afterwards?

I did 4 pieces from thin material, solder together and then fillet down.

Hi Wojtek,

As others have said, your work is outstanding.

One of the things that I really like about this thread (and your others) is that it gives me some ideas I can apply to my builds. I particularly like the idea of attaching control surfaces with small rods.

Have you considered writing an article for Fine Scale Modeler? Your work and photos would be great in that magazine.

Regards,
