Remember the thread I posted about Roden asking me what I would like to see in 1/48 & 1/32? For better or worse I opened it up here and several other forums for members to get a chance to sound off. I was correct in my assumption that they had the 1/72 scale line up already chosen.

You see? This is why Roden gets my vote. They ask the modeller what he/she wants rather than tell the modeller what they think he/she wants.

Cheers,

Hugh

What Are They Planning In !/72, Mr. Lawson?

I would very much like to see some of these things listed above appear in the smaller scale.

The F.E. 2 and Voisins of course, and the rounded fuselage Nieuports, along with the model 10, and the early Albatross two-seaters in particular.

A Taube done to Roden standard in 1/72 would be wonderful.

Greetings Old Man;

They have not given me any details saying only that 1/72 line is already chosen.

Thank you, Stephen.

Great work. A Pub and a Triplane in 1/32 - wow.

Thanks,
Kofoed

Its great to hear that Roden have a 1/72 lineup planned.
I was beginning to think that they would abandon the Righteous scale for the dark side!

The criteria I used was; from all of the modeling sites I frequent I chose kits that got a minimum of 10 mentions. The list would have been twice as long. One fellow event mentione the Tarrant Tabor. There were even several between the wars aircraft but this list is what was predominant in the over all requests. Mostly fighters and two seaters. I think we'll be lucky to see any three show up.
