Hello,
I've got new Eduards' Spad and I think that it's the best kit which Eduard made. The choice of camouflages is according to me verz good. I would like ask if anzone has the photos of Nungessers' Spad form the right side where it would be seen the notice "Lt.Verdier". I've found only one photo in Squadron Signal publication (page 43). On the same photo it look that the tricolour on the fuselage isn't completed and there is only white triangle. On the opposite side in the eduard sheet is the tricolour completed. I think that Eduard has several mistakes in their sheet.
Best regards

Greetings Mindphaser;

The first time these were published was in an early Cross & Cockade USA issue (early 1960's) with plan view drawings of the machine. One fellow did a DML Spad XIII in these colour some years back. I'll see if I can come up with the images.

Greetings all & Mindphaser here is a bit of fun concerning the Spad XIII flown by Nungesser. Here is the S.A.F.C.A. company example of a licence built Spad XIII.

So what's the story about the white triangle vs. the red white & blue one on the Eduard decals? Was the Nungesser photo taken before the painting was complete? If so then why do the upper wings have red white & blue stripes? Anyone have a later photo showing the 3 color stripes on the turtledeck?
