Doug, your Flug Werke colour test from 20th of October is the one I'd go for if it was a choice between that and Australian 2.
Or, maybe try the new pattern but lift just the green lozenge colour from the 20th of October version? The pink, blue and purple also look a bit washed out, need to be brighter.
HI jay THANKS as you know i have never seen the stuff ether the WWI AERO test i am having trouble with scaling down the fabricit is just to light and dark i get blotchy look ,oh well. your comments are most welcome JAY FOKKER J Doug
Doug:
I haven't been following this like I should. I agree with Flugwerke on the October 20th pattern. That is the Day Intermediate Dark Pattern. The colors are right on.
I'll review the bottom 5 color patterns and get back to you. Where may I find the 4 color patterns, which postings?
Blue skies,
Dan-San
as always i need input and lots of it, i am already having troubles with colors lol feel free to talk {or type} i know that the pattern is not lined up it is just a test Doug
I con't help much on this one. You already know Mark Miller's page. The first photo he uses for matching the four color fabric is from the Aero Conservancy website(LVG Aileron fabric). It is a good photo, but I don't know how much the fabric has changed in 90 years, or the lighting conditions for the photo.
Hopefully one of the collectors will help out here. You might get a little more attention for this if you started a new thread for the four color.
