5 color fabric sample!?!?
Hey Doug,
You are matching colors from a 5 color fabric sample. The 5th color (lilac) is there in the photo on the right side touching the pink polygon. The 4 colors you lifted from this photo are different from the 4 colors used by Fokker.

Ya, thanks....I saw that also, but felt like I was being a winey so and so.
There is that bothersome fifth color between the China Blue and the Blonde.
I figured Doug wouldn't want to play with me any more if I over did it.

(Look at the second picture, in which the fabric is still doped. The first picture was taken after the dope was removed.) Could they have been the same colors?
M. G. Taylor,
My first impression of Doug's sample also was that there was a seam down the middle. After looking more closely, I noticed that the pattern was continuous. It is more likely that it is a rib location.

Well the Four Color was developed or rather evolved from the 5 dolor Loz. The 5 color Came First. SO it follows the two are close.
Ah a Rib Line yes I see it. But also see the Cloth strip on this side ? COuld that be the underside of the Fabric ie on top of the Rib and under the fabric. The COnservatory photos show I think the same thing with stciching holes on the top side and the linen strip on the underside ?
Yours Mike
