I got some prints out of the previous patterns. Last nite was printing spraying and brushing Decal Solution on them. I am allowing them to cure today and tomorrow cuase I have to go to work all day midnight to midnught and Friday I'll try putting them on a Fokker Tailplane to see how they come out. As I suspected the Print on to decal paper changes what you are seeing here. SO far they look acceptable. Proof will be how they survive the transfer from the backing paper to plastic and if they will take Micro -Sol to Hunker down.

Yours Mike

I think I brighten-ed the contrast a little with my Photo editing software and it actually printed on teh Decal Paper a bit brighter so it in fact matches the Four COlor upper sample.

I see from the sample youve posted how you can tinge the "Grey" with a Little greenish - tint. But I dont like it. ALthough let me say I think the decal prints came out acceptable.

I see how your grey match is close to the sample above but you can see from another sample of the real lower fabric posted earlier their is NO greenish tint to it ?

Honestly I feel the afinity for the greenish tint is a throw back to AMG's orginal colors. But to me Grey/Blue/Pink/Blond makes snese to me for a "Sky" motif especialy a cloudly/blue/ sunseting day ?

BUT I dont want to start a Debate all over again. I think I can work with the mulitple efforts youve made already

Yours MIke

I Think We Have A Winner!

The Greyish-Green/Greenish-Grey looks better to me. I did not like the Stone Gray (it was too Grey!). I think that your new color is a better match to your sample and Dan-San's reference. It looks like a Sage Green or well worn Army Fatigues (Olive Drab) to me and looks about what I would hope for. Maybe I'm "Old School", but the Grey just didn't look right! In my opinion, even if the Gray was right I would not want to use it.

Good job Doug!

P.S. I think that your "Dans color match TEST 1" Post #463 is "Good To Go!". Is Kriegsmarine next?
