Doug, very late on the response, but based upon my recent examinations, the best guess for purple rib tapes is the same colour as the darkest of the purples posted in post 577 for the 3 colour hex.

well Huberlu sent me the A-H stuff it look GREAT and i got my little fat hands on the methune book of color oooh yeaa,,, night hex here we come I smell REDO Most of the night colors fall in to the f or e range and are very dark and gray they won't look like my old ones DAN IS RIGHT when he said that the colors were hard to pick out from a distance and looked a dark slate gray even the dark purple is a dark gray i hope to post this soon i have a lot of work to do and i have to go back to work monday 20 ps i now know what goose turd looks like lol lol Doug

well i reworked the night hex colors to match the muthuen book of colors i know the colors are off from book to book i just dont know how much? from 1918 to now. but i had to get the colors from some were AND if i used panatone i have to know or have the color to use it, so back to the old to make some thing new

first all of the colors codes were from WWI AERO No129 AUG 1990 and are from Dan San Abbot..... test 1 80 GO G.V 900/16 G.V 938 AEG G.IV 1125/16were painted it colors like this this color codes aer from AEG G.IV 1125/16 GRAYISHBLUE 21E7 GRAYISH-MAGENTA 14E5 BLACK DARK GREEN 26F5

test 2 is from a AEG G.IV that was in Flight.. the colors are from test1 and the rest was from Flight this is NOT to scale AND NEEDS TO BE REDONE [/IMG]
