PEGASUS Models Under New Ownership

Pegasus / Silver Cloud / Blue Max
Press Release

PEGASUS MODELS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP

by Chris Gannon

As you may recall, I recently mentioned that I was interested in finding a purchaser for Pegasus Models. I have been fortunate to find a like minded individual in Colin Strachan of Freightdog Models, to whom ownership of Pegasus Models, Silver Cloud Models and Blue Max productions passed this week.

As you have probably gathered I have had several major changes in life and these have extended to career as well. I am no longer in the position to run Pegasus full time and have struggled trying to run matters on a part-time basis for the past year. I have now relinquished all involvement in the business and would like to offer my congratulations and best wishes to Colin for the future.
Colin intends to continue the business started by myself in 1982; it will be officially re-launched this year at Scale Model World after an absence of three years. New releases in the Pegasus and Blue Max ranges will follow in 2009, including the recently completed Blue Max 1/48th. Macchi M.5 flying boat. Several Blue Max kits will be re-introduced in time for Scale Model World.

Until the revamped Pegasus website is re-launched, all information will be hosted on Freightdog’s own website; www.freightdogmodels.co.uk with any enquires to freightdog@btopenworld.com

I should like to close by thanking all my loyal customers of the past 26 years. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to have made the many acquaintances the world over that my company has afforded me. I am confident that in Colin, the business is in safe hands and that he will continue the enterprise started all those years ago and which gave me so much satisfaction and pleasure.
