I laid some parts of the kit over the Datafile drawings, and found out some minor inaccuracies. It might be the drawings, which I have to check...

Having seen your previous work over at ARC, I'm very excited to see what you do with this kit!

Regards,

First 1/72 kit I've bought in 15 years

Looking forward to following your build I have one stashed away for a future build. It's a great looking kit with lots of promise.

Dry assembly of the cockpit parts with Uhu tack. The least I can say is that there is some room for improvement...
The cp floor should be like in a boat: wood planks. The control cables are missing.

The broken steering wheel. Crude rudders...there is plenty of hard work ahead

Roden's armchair seats are not correct

There is an article in Scale Models December 1977, by C. Rupert Moore which has some excellent plans. See the scan of the seats below which shows how the co-pilots seat folded out of the way.

Here is a link to an earlier thread on The 'Drome: Roden Felixstowe F2A (early) build

James

Thank you James

Today I received from Poland the PART etched parts. They contain very detailed and tiny items

My Gallery
Check the drawings.

Scalephantomphixer:
Before you start cutting up the mouldings, check the drawings to see if they are really in scale, paper can shrink. Check the span and hull lengths first.
Blue skies,
