You can get one from ..

Ebay or if you wait a little while Eduard is set to release a Fokker dVII limited edition with the famous “Sieben Schwaben” markings wich i'm pretty sure is a OAW made Fokker so that would mean that they are re releasing there OOP OAW kit.
I hope so because i will be in line for a few.

A re-release???

A re-release would be wonderful! I've got one of the Roden kits and the the fit of the cowling is a real pain in the a$$. Any idea when this limited edition kit will be released?

It depends on the manufacturer you want the Fok. D.VII to represent. You mentioned the OAW (Eduard kit #8131). Many of us have them in our stash but getting a re-release of that kit with those decals is unlikely. If your looking for any Fokker D.VII the latest release is their "Weekend kit" #8482.

On their website under "products / Eduard / aircraft" are kits #8132, 8133 & 8134 & 8482.

By the way if you don't want that Roden kit I would be glad to take it off your hands.

Eduard kit #8131

I'm in the process of building the Roden kit and just like what is included in the Eduard kit and like the ease of build. I believe the the weekend kit that's readily available is for a Fokker built aircraft and the plane that I am looking to model is an OAW built machine. I'm not at all concerned about the decals that come in the #8131 kit as I will be using aftermarket decals anyway.

Then a late Fokker built will be an easy conversion to a late OAW. If your looking for the mid production OAW with the small cup shaped louvres, your out of luck for the whole kit. Though someone may have a spare fuselage as two ( a mid & a late version) were in the original kit. Good Luck

An example of the original OAW Fokker kit #8131 was listed on UK ebay until a few days ago although I don't know how much it sold for. LSA Models in Hove in southern England had an example on their shelves when I last visited about 6 weeks ago. It's not listed on their website but if you are desperate you could phone the owner and check. Postage to the USA might be an issue of course.
