Werner Voss 1/12 bust from Model Cellar
Model Cellar Productions would like to announce our November Release:
Werner Voss
(sculpted by Mike Good)
Item #MC12B04 1/12 scale Bust
This is the newest 1/12 bust in the "Knights of the Air" collectors series. As usual, Mike has captured the likeness of this WWI German Ace perfectly. Uniform detail is clean, crisp and accurate, from the Pour le Merite around his neck, right down to the buttons of his tunic.
Done in 1/12 scale, Voss joins our own Raoul Lufbery and Francesco Baracca in extending the series started with the 1/12 scale busts of Richthofen, Rickenbacker, Udet, and Goerth included in the 1/48 DML kits in the early 90's.
Hope you like it.
Regards,
Paul

Mates,
OBTW which one of you fine people would like to paint it for me, as I am a clutz when it comes to art things, can't even draw a simple circle. That is why I have such respect and honor for those of you that have that talent. (If you are interested drop me a pm and we can discuss a fee)
Tks in advance

Good question!
Of course, the tunic is not "regulation". But there are several photos showing him wearing this tunic. Voss' family was involved in the manufacture of cloth. It would be easy to speculate that this tunic was custom made for him by a business acquaintance of the family?
One of the reasons I chose to depict him in this tunic is because it was unusual and peculiar to Voss.
Thanks for the comments!
Mike
