MicroSculpt's Lozenge Decals

I just wanted to post a quick user review of the new logenze decals offered by MicroSculpt. I like many of you waited many many months for these to be offered for sale. I followed the progress here and on another site with Stephen Lawson leading the testing.

I received my decals the other day and put them to use quickly. These decals are nothing short of fantastic. The colors look as historically accurate as anything I have seen. They work very well in water. They respond to Micro-sol and set extremely well. They set good, and they trim off very well. They are durable yet not so delicate they break up. I am extremely pleased with mine. It's been a long wait, but like Stephen has stated, it was worth it.

Since Americal/Gryphon ceased doing business, I had been creating my own using autocad, photshop, and decal paper. It got me through but the decals were hard to work with plus being a pain in the neck. It's so nice to know we have an outlet now for lozenge decals that are acurate and work well.

warm regards,
Jeff

Hi, RittersJeff,

Thanks for the mini-review. This confirms the quality we had all expected, evidently with good cause. As the line expands, I am sure that the quality level will be maintained, thus providing us with, as you say, "an outlet now for ... decals that are accurate and work well."

Well Done, MicroSculpt!

Greetings all;

I am woking on an review based on the Microsculpt lozenge decals I have applied to various surfaces. Jeff is absolutely right this stuff works well. Looks good and is modeler friendly. (If you understand how to apply lozenge decals you have it whipped.

Any plans for a 1/32nd scale release in the future?

What scales are they available for? And, is there a link to a web site for them?

Regards,

Thanks!

Gentlemen:

Thank you for taking the time to express your very positive comments. It pleases me to hear that you like our products. The greatest reward is in comments such as yours, and the concept of contributing to someone's enjoyment of this hobby.

Currently only 1/48 scale versions are available. But, both 1/32 and 1/72 versions of the lozenge will be available in the near future. The next item to be released will be 1/48 Fokker streaked camouflage. These should be available around New Year's.

For information on our products, please look here.

Cheers!

Tom
