EDuard Christmas offering 2008.

Highslide JS

Eduard has a healthy line-up up kits and accessories for December, but the undoubted star of the show looks to be the long-awaited 1/48 scale Fokker E.II/E.III.

I was anxiously awaiting the Eindecker, but I started to think about it. I wonder if they're going to use the plastic from the Gavia Pfalz.

The one I had gave me major problems fitting the cockpit into the fuselage. A lot of work has to be done to the false fuselage floor that you wouldn't know about until it was too late.

Not the same design. Dimensions totally different.

Wouln't it have been a bit more close to reality if the Einddecker shot down a BE2c instead of a Nieuport 11?

Cheers, Nico

Hmm – to shoot down a B.E.2 may have had overstressed the endurance of this Fokker.
As far as I know this particular Fokker was flown by Ernst Udet, during this time with Kampfeinsitzerkommando Habsheim, facing the French….

Just my two cents.

In case of Ernst Udet only an encounter with a Voisin comes to my mind speaking of that period.

Cheers, Nico

The red slash????

Gentlemen:
The color of the slash in the photograph in a lighter shade of grey than the unbleached linen fabric, how could it be red????????? Also, red is not a Bavarian color!
Blue skies,
Dan-San

All of Eduard's box art seems to have a bit of fantasy in the details. Usually their colour interpretations have been the one thing they are not great at.
