Caudron G.4

Does anybody know if some manufacter is casting actually or in the near future a caudron G.4 in 1/72 scale in resin or plastic?
I never seen this aircraft in 1/72 scale and I would like to build one.

Many thanks, Claudio.

Hello, Claudio,

I haven't seen anything about this as either a currrent or future model. Perhaps those forumites more up to date than I can add a comment or two. Good luck with your search!

G.4 kit

There was a 1/72nd scale vac-form, from, I think, Roseplane.
I have one half-built (half-built for about ten years now!). Given the a/c's configuration, building a vac-form is probably no harder than building an injection-molded or resin kit.

Phoenix did a vac form Caudron G4 in 1/72

Although it has been out of production for quite a few years, this kit turns up on ebay occasionally. I don't have this one in my stash but Phoenix vac forms are generally well done.

.G.4 kit

Jamo is right; Phoenix it was (I had to check the instruction sheet).
There was also a vac-form G.4 by Formaplane, but I wouldn't touch THAT one with the proverbial barge-pole :-)

So, I have 2 options. Check ebay hoping to find a Phoenix G.4 or wait some manufacter cast a new one.
I think each other are very difficult to happen, but I have no other choice.
By the way, if someone of You hears some rumors about a G.4 in 1/72 scale for sale, please give me a voice on this forum, I'll appreciate it and I'll thank You very much.

Claudio.
