Boron tungsten

Another possibility for very stiff rigging wire is boron tungsten. Boron is plasma deposited on a micro strand of tungsten wire, Unfortunately, I do not know a source for this product.

Bill,

No I still have the stainless you gave me! Thanks, works great by the way! I just wanted to give this stuff a try.
I've heard nothing but good things about it & it is quite elusive, so it is probably the best stuff ever!

Ken...give it a whirl...lemme know how it works. I'm just starting two (2) Eduard Albatrii DVs. It will be a few days before I get to rigging them. I can always hold off until I get a full written report (in triplicate) from you.

Wonder Wire

'Wonder Wire' was mentioned in a recent issue of Fine Scale Modeler (don't remember which...) where Bill Funke reviewed Eduards 1/48th scale Dr.1:

Wonder Wire

Hope this helps.
