Eindecker E.II and E.III from Eduard
Dear friends,
I have just received brand new kit of Fokker Eindecker from Eduard. Quality of parts are best possible. Some later I will arrange few info and images of this kit. And just to note- thi is very last official material from Eduard and my site will no more featured review of their products.
Best regards,

One question- Eindecker is know as simple finished plane in natural color of fabric. This is the image of E.III taken during the escort of the Zepellin during the air raid on Bucuresti, Romania. Plane on the left side look like it have some camo patches on the side of fuselage. Or this is possible just shadows and influence of dirt. Hard to believe that it is camo patches but you never know.
Cheers

Greetings Srecko; It depends on the date of the image 1915 probably unbleached linen. Mid to late 1916 they began trying to add camouflage to these types at the front. Check Dan San Abbott's treatise on German camouflage here(originally printed in WWI Aero.)

Possibly as well if that is over Romania , could it as well be Austro-Hungarian Air Forces which had Pale green Eindeckers ?
Either way I agree with your supostion that the images are most likely shadows, etc.
Yours Mike

Hello Sreiko, Something looks very wrong with the Fokker on the left, What caught my eye first was the rudder, it is way out of proportion to the rest of the a/c, next what is the matter with the m.g.'s, they also look deformed, and finally the area between the leading edge and the cowl front looks very wrong. How sure are you about this photograph, and its authenticity?

Also, does that right hand landing gear assembly look "Y" shaped or are my eyes getting bad again?

I dont think so the rudder is the wrong shape and on the Pfalz the wing is mounted higher on the fuselauge.
And yes the struts on the l/g do seem to form an Y.

Flypaper- you remind me that I forget to mention that image is possibly from the Technical Museum in Vienna. So answer is there. Except of resize for web, no further action is taken on this image.
Anyway this is not matter at all as well Stephen give me an answer, no matter what a plane is on image.
Any additional source for pale green surface of the kuk samples, as well kit box offer one kuk version to be built.
Cheers
