It's a combination of

The 1/32nd Roden D.I and the D.III kit. With New (very nice) resin parts, Eduard Photo Etch, figure, decals, and metal struts.

Looks like a great deal, if you take the normal price of the Roden D.III kit, add in about $20 for the resin figure, $10-$15 or so for the engine and another $15 for the Eduard photoetch you look to be saving some serious money. But in my opinion the face does not look much like Boelcke.

Scared me a bit! Looks more like Herman - Herman Munster that is!
Actually he also looks a bit beefy for Boelcke! But sometimes it is the way the figures are painted! I wish manufactures would just prime their kits, as this always gives you a better idea of what it actually looks like & casting quality!

Think this'll be the shape of things to come? Could offer some exciting new options.

A re release of other kits? Who did the decals? Squadron?

MicroSculpt: Better get some 1/32 lozenge in the works

Galloway: Where are you in AZ? I'm in Anthem, just up the I-17 at the end of Phoenix.

TeamStewart: no lozenge needed on a D.II, all were painted green & brown or 2 greens & brown. (depending on serial# of course)

I'm looking forward to this bird..this plus the fact that I recently started building one as an add-on for Flight Simulator 9.

TS and Galloway...good to see more of us "High Temp Tested" people here at the Drome. I'm in Fountain Hills myself.

Cheers
Randy
