For those who haven't seen this already, the Brit modelling magazine Scale aviation Modeller Int./Oct issue has a bit on Roden's next planned releases. They're to be 72nd scale SE5as with Viper and Hispano versions and what looks like a RR Falcon Bristol Fighter. (Let's hope they do the F2b in all it's versions, like they did the D.VIIs and the Albatroses.) No release date mentioned for these.
In 48th there's to be a series of Sopwith One-and-a-halfs and Gladiators. Release dates for these is supposedly 'Oct-Nov-Dec'

They will certainly be getting my money. I am looking forward to both these going into production. The 1:72 scale has needed modern renditions of these aircraft for a while now, same with the Camel and Spads. Hopefully Roden will continue to focus on WWI aircraft til they have created kits for the Camel and Spad too.

I agree with you Cam, me too I'm waiting for modern kits of 1/72 SE5a, Camel, Spad and Nieuport 17. Furthermore, I'm also waiting the release of the 1/48 Gladiator (hoping for a Belgian version)

Looks like Roden is gunning for Eduard's market share. And Eduard will be caught napping. And that's competition for you....

Eduard napping? Not so!! Did you see what they have announced for release in January?

A 1/72nd Junkers J.I. Cool!

The only thing better would be a two-seat SPAD, like the 11 or 16 <sigh>. One of these days...

WarrenD, a 1/48th scale Camel is planned at Eduard, but it seems that they have some complication with the release of that kit... Alre also planned at 1/72th scale a Hanriot and a SE5.
