http://www.hobbyterra.com announced that Roden's come out with two very nice 1/48 scale planes:

(Sopwith 1.5 Strut, 2-seater)

and,

The 1-seater version. *Both are selling for around $19 US.

Oh, and they also planes in some piddly scale, like 1/72 or something...

It is very, very good! *I hope that the next 1/48 releases could be a Fokker D.VII, Fokker Dr.I and a Spad XIII, once Eduard seems do not care about those planes....

Come on Eduard! Shake your fat ass!!!

Gregorz,

The plastic is clear!!!!!!

I like their list of in processing kits. They are going to make out like bandits with me on 1:72 SE5a and F2b kits. By that timetable the Hispano Suiza SE5a will be in December of this year.

Yes, you can trash your Airfix kit.
:P
BTW, why only halves of wings are painted?

Why would they do it clear? Is it cheaper? Does it have better flow properties at a certain temperature and pressure without pigment?

lol yeh that sucks. I have another in the cupboard too. I bought them as slammers but ended up detailing it anyway. Plus I bought a bunch of Roseplanes extras and add ons for it :/

A7198 had an unusual scheme which was why I picked it. It is attached in the pic.
