Best rendition yet
Umlauf,
Your cowling artwork is superb. I think it perfectly captures the original in its somewhat "wild-eyed" appearance. Your modeling is more like artwork in all the details.
Bravo!

Are they crayola crayons ?
Doug , it wouldn't surprise me in the least bit if they did have these shades . They seem to have every other colour
How did you do it ?

Inside Voß
Hi, here comes 3 Pictures from inside the fuselage halves.
I cover the fuel tank in bare-metal-foil "gold".

no, not crayola crayons --- that's are aquarell-crayons.
First basic colour XF-59 Tamiya desert yellow, and than line by line freehand painted the dark brown stripes. When this was done, I used two ore three differend orange, dark yellow ore sand aquarell crayons to shade the area between the dark brown stripes.

That prop is just breathtaking----this is most certainly going to be a build I shall enjoy watching---and go a deeper shade of green with each new picture,
First class.

Pencil People,
'Aquarell' is a product from Staedtler a manufacturer of drafting and artist supplies. There are a few different models of Aquarell pencils, but basically they are water soluble, intense colours in pencil form. Try any art supply shop.
Regards,
John
