Most impressive build. You have taken a rudimentary kit and transformed it. Please continue with it. Your work is wonderful.

Pilot's-seat
Thank's for your nice words, Stephen.
Here are Pic's from the Pilot's-seat. It's ready now to "screw" it in the fuselage.
The Seatbelts are from Eduard's foto-etch-Parts-set for the Roden 1/32 Fokker DR.1
The seat is the Kit-Part from Roden's DR.1.
I paint it with Mr. Metalcolor No.218 Polish-Aluminium. After dry, i polished the seat and sprayed a thin coat Tamiya X-22 "Clear".
At the end, i washed the seat with oil-color "burnt umber" and White-spirit-mix.

Just for fun ....... part one
Hi, here are Pic's from the E.V-compass. I make it moveable, -just for fun.
This was one of a lot stupid idea's in my head for the Fokker-build
I cut a lead-shot and glued one half on the underside of the compass. The upperside of the compass looks now always on top.

I cant believe you put a proper working gymbal on the compass! Hopefully by the time you put paint on it, it still works. Then you can zoom the completed aircraft around the room and compass remains true!

more "inside"-pic's
Hi, here more pictures from the left and the right fuselagehalves.
I used the Kit-MG's on the cowling only to find the right place for the Ammo-boxes on the scratch-built brasstube-frame. By the end, I will used Eduard-etch-part's for the Spandau's. The same etch-part's as for my Albatros D.I (a thread about the Albatros is also here in the Forum). I trail the cowling by an Dremmel , made a hole for the fuel gauge and trail the cowling thinner on all edges and holes.............it looks more realistic.

Tail-skid
Here Pictures from the tail skid. I used the kit tail skid and removed the "plasic-tube" on it. You see, the tail skid is to short, i mounted a plastic part with 4,3mm lenght and a metall pin. The pin is 15,5mm long and 0,6mm thick............ .
