Awesome work!

Are you planing on doing the streaked multi-color stained finish on the wing?

Very nice work! Your appreciation of the airplane shows. Lots of extra details, that add up to a fine build.
Unfortunately, mine looks crude by comparison.

Check your Wing Plan form drawings there. You will see There IS an addtional Panel line on the wings NOT molded in the Plastic Kit Part.

Chordwise from the Leading to trailing edge of the wing at the root of the alieron there should be another panel line. Which is easy to scribe in.

Truly unique Solution to showing a Weathered Wing. Not to mention an overwhelming desire to use your Roto Tool !

The effect is undeniably good looking.

BTW I see leads for the Alieron Control wires BOTH from the Fuselage and the wing ? How are you planing on joining them ?

Yours Mike

Bertl,
Your weathering of the wing is very impressive. I had thought of doing the same on my 1/28 scale E.V, but I have no clear photo showing the upper surface of the wing any dips in the skin between the structural frames . Have you found any information showing the upper surface weathering as the lower surface?

I'm looking forward to your next up my friend.Love all those amazing detail you have included in you E.V project. I hope to pick up a few tips along the way during your master quality build.
Regards,
Gregory Jouette

Hi, here Razor-pictures from fuselage and the "wooden" tail-skid. I used Tamiya putty basic type.

Hey GREAT SHOTS THERE! Persoanlly I had hoped Engels was a lot farther along on this one but The shots are incredable. I cant wait to se ethe final finishing.

The Bare Ply Wing shots there (correction) show the (Four) addtional Chordwise Panel Lines which are not on the Plastic wing of the Kit but which are easily scribed into place for the correct number of Plywood wing panels.

Yours MIke

Bertl,
How is your E.V coming along? I hope to see a new update soon, such an excellent build. Will you be weathering the upper surface of the wing as you did the lower surface? Thanks for your opinion concerning both E.V kit available in 1/32 scale.I've ordered the Avis E.V from Mike Taylor.
