Thanks, Doug.
But I must admit I did not quite understand, what you meant by: "mybe you can finish this bird when your eyes uncross"

Model's finish
The finished effect you have achieved is what I now plan to do with my WW1, & other, planes. I know I've got along way to go but sooner or later it will come. I love how it looks. Carl T

Doug, thanks for explanation. My English is definitely not a native-like one, I do not catch all the subtleties.
Thanks, CarlT. I am sure you will be able to do at least the same as me. After all it is not so complicated, only tedious.
And meanwhile... As usually I could not help it and stopped for a moment at the monoplane stage:
And by the way, probably the last shot of the dirty bottom. Later I will be afraid to lay the model upside down to photograph it.
Tomorrow is the upper-wing-time!

Another of your beauties, Przemol!
Having seen what you can do in this scale, i'd love to see you tackle something bigger!!
I really like the 'Strutter - particularly in French colours...........

Thanks, Rowan and Scimitar. I am truly glad you find my Strutter interesting.
Rowan, besides all I am also scared of larger scale, I suppose I could not afford a lot of simplifications that are acceptable in 72nd!
And meanwhile the monoplane started growing upper wing
And also the control lines - rudder and skid have already theirs, elevator will get its just before the upper wing sits down, i.e. very very soon.

Great work
Great work once again Przemol, could I ask if you have any special way of connecting the outer struts.I guess securing pins are out of the question in this scale ?

You are right, Doug, with your comments on sticking to one specified scale. I would only add one more issue - the one of being accustomed to something. I am a person who does welcome too much novelty.
se5a12, there are small holes in the wing surfaces and small pins at the strut ends. But they do not ensure the stability of single struts. Recently I assembly them in the following way. First I glue them temporarily to their holes with Uhu "Tack-It" mass which gives them flexibility. I position all four struts controlling the geometry in front, side and top views. When I am sure I got them right I remove and glue them one by one with plastic adhesive. At this stage it is enough to check the geometry of one strut with respect to the others. After the glue is initially set (1 hour or so) after another check of the geometry I add to the joints small drops of liquid CA glue using a sharpened toothpick. The next evening the structure is ready to continuation with the top wing. I add cabane struts as the last stage. When the structure is set the time comes for rigging.
