Welcome to the Aerodrome!
Your D.VII is a very nice and clean build. And a good choice to start with 1WW. I believe that after some more easy ones (as E.V) you will move slowly to more "rigged" topics. Then the weathering, shading, wash and so on will follow And so on, and so on, and so on. I wish you all of this! It is a great hobby! Good to have one more pair of hands on deck!

Thanks gents
PrzemoL that is the general plan to move slowly towards the heavily rigged planes.

The main reason I haven't applied intensive weathering on this one (although I like to do that on my other subjects) are the two photos I found in one number of "Over the Front" after observing them I decided do do just a subtle weathering...
Looks I am hooked on WW I planes

My dear friend, welcome to the active side of the forum (enough looking around for free, now it's time to pay by building good&nice WWI subjects )
This one looks really nice - painting, weathering & all (including heavy lozenge decaling), keep up the good work!
There's plenty of struts and bars to be rigged , and plenty of rigging material waiting around => good thing you've finally found what the best modelling subject is
