I bought 2 WNW kits last month after hearing about them on this Forum, going to the website I looked at frame after frame of pictures of the moulds and was blown away by the level of detail, decals and instructions of these kits.
Now...1/32 is not my scale for WW1 but when I saw they take Pay pal and have free delivery...well that's all I needed to hear.
I now look forward to the next series from WNW and find myself checking the website almost every day. for the Albatros D.V, Pfalz D.IIIa, Fokker D.V and the Sopwith Pup.
I particularlly am looking forward to the Roland D.VIb and the Hansa/Brandeburd W.29. I don't mind waiting though...and hope that we don't get a delunge of kits all hitting the market at once.
I was into 1/400 diecast airliners...but the frenzied release schedule of new models hit a high point of some 20-30 new ones each month (each one approx $30)...I can't afford that.
So if we're waiting a spell...that's fine by me...not too fast please...but do hurry with at least 1-2...OK?

I suspect they're waiting for a container load of kits to arrive from the manufacturer. The website people will have all the new pages ready to go, including pics of the pre-production kits all beautifully finished. When the kits arrive they will 'flick a switch' and the website will update and the wait will be over. Conjecture on my part, I have no inside info.

News, sort of...
Hi,
According to the review on HS of the new Windsock, the next 5 new releases from Wingnuts Wings are confirmed.
Anyone got it, or due to receive it?

I read that too on the Hyperscale site this morning. The 5 new releases, would they be: Pfalz D.IIIa, Fokker D.VII, Albatros D.V, RE.8, and Gotha G.IV? If anyone has the new Windsock, please let us know.

The May/June issue has a two page update and lists the next five (after the first eight) as:
DH2
FE2b
DH9a
Roland DVIb
Brandenburg W.29
Not sure where the Gotha and the Pup fit in as the next four are due to be
Fokker DVII
Albatros DV
Pfalz DIIIa
RE8
If you don't have a subscription I'd seriously advise you get one if you can as in the next issue there will also be interviews with Peter Jackson and Richard Alexander "with behind-the-scenes photos, fascinating insights into their new venture, development processes and future plans..." The Magazine is now all colour and quite the best resource available for WWI modellers... in my eversoumble opinion!
