hey, we're modelers right
Yep! I've got 2 Revell D.VIIs waiting, Americal decals, Copper State details, brass airfoil stock for the struts and an upper wing glued together with 2 3/16th plexiglass spars to keep away that notorious droop. Someday I'll get this kit together...if Wing Nut's D.VII kit doesn't distract me first!

I miss Americal-Gryphon too but hopefully Microsculpt will fill the printed fabric gap!

I'm another one with a few of each of the Revell birds, it'll be interesting to see your progress.

Stoney,
Outstanding collection my friend.I've multiples of the same kits with the exception of the Fokker DVII in the stash.Your Spad XII in Luke's markings is my favorite.Got to love those old Revel kits.

Gregory Jouette

Thanks boys! I used brass square tube and epoxy to correct the wing. Ya' know, when you think about it, how could Revell get that wing droop so wrong! I mean, it is a main feature of the D.VII. It shows in every photo and line drawing I've seen of it since I was 10 years old, and I'm 62 now.
