WOW Doug Seriously Appears your Best 36th scale Scratched Piece/work YET !! I am Very impressed. The others were great but this is awesome !! Wow Look forward to seeing the Finished Build. Please must put a soda can or some other easily recognizable everyday item in the photo next to it to show its relative scale/actual size !

Yours Miike

Doug,
Thanks for posting the photo of your G.IV.Looks like we both chose the same markings too.Anyway fantastic work on the G.IV.Is this one also in 1/36 scale too?Where do you get your plans,I use Datafiles as my main source

As for me scratch building a G.Vb it's going to happen.I've been studying the Gotha datafile and searching the internet for drawings. The scale is undecided as of yet but I'm leaning toward 1/48 scale. I'd like to up scale to 1/32,but really don't think the drawings I have are detailed enough for my favorite scale.Datafiles are great but don't have the detail I want in a 1/32 scale project. Scratch building a Gotha G.Vb in large scales,to me cries out for details as so much is visible.

In the mean time I'll be enjoying your AEG thread. The work on the interior is very impressive, love the well worn black painted plywood floors. That's a great touch.I'm dying to see what's coming in the next update.

Regards,
Gregory Jouette

That is very nice work, Sir!

I take it you are building up the interior and then skinning around it?

HUBERLU has helped me with this project with info and photos we traded info and pick each others brains with question's about the aircraft and interpreting photos.. such as we found out that the Canada's AEG has no wing tapes on the top wing ,, just heavy cord and the bottom of the wing not a thing at all, open stitching,, is it not finished??? or is this the way that A/C was?? thanks HUB for all of your help.. i forgotten how is your AEG going???
