Trust you sorted out your enquiry of me earlier in the year ;-)

BTW I have a plans to repaint a couple of your WWI busts at some stage using my latest techniques to do them justice. Will be sure to share here when I do.

Keep on buzzin' buddy.

Hi Nigel,

the Gotha was an amazing kit & had a slew of figures displayed around it. Some come with the special edition ('Coming 2010'), some appear to be separate packs. Will have to wait and see, but inspiring f'sure.

Yes Mike, I did make my connection. Thanks for your help!

With your painting ability, I will look forward to seeing those busts.

BTW, I have added a few more to the series produced by The Model Cellar.

The Model Cellar

In addition to those shown on their site there are two more already sculpted and on the way. No doubt there will be more in the future as well.

Cheers!!

No promises on the bust as I don't normally revisit past projects, however considering how I made such a hash of the faces in the past I thought they would deserve a make over :-)

BTW is the Raoul Lufbery bust the same one you did for Dragon all those years ago or a new one?

Thanks in advance,

I've attached some photos and hope you find them useful. I've tried not to double up on those taken by James, so trust these support what he has added.

By the way, John Belcher, another top rated NZ figure modeller has painted many of the figures (as well as Nic Moore). You can find more of his work on PlanetFigure vbench.

The figures are sculpted by the Perry Brothers of the UK and they have created some wonderful characters that will perfectly compliment the aircraft. I understand they will be offered in a range of options - some as part of 'Special release' kits like the Gotha, some as unpainted 'group set' kits & some as pre-painted collectors items. All aimed at encouraging diorama building.

Are these helpful?

Kind regards,

Mike

A couple of pre-painted kits were also available, not sure how these would fit in with your dioramas. Though they could be used as complementary displays with aircraft.

Regards,

Mike
