Hi Dave,

What's the problem mate? I detect a note of cynicism :-(
Trust me I'm simply an enthusiast that was impressed by Wingnut's work. Their diligence to research included aspects that apparently have not been captured in miniature over the years and it is only through the research that goes into reconstructing actual aircraft that some detail has come to light such as fuel tank detail on the upper wing of the Pfalz fighter.

Naive maybe, passionate f'sure.

Mike

No cynicism, mate. I was just chuckling over how this thread has been going like a California wild fire.

I have been buying the WNW kits myself. Perhaps the best engineered aircraft kits ever mass produced in plastic.

I have to have a laugh though. Most of us with the first four probably have not built the first one yet, but here we are waiting and talking about the next releases like tramps waiting for Godot.

A better description would be an addict needing his next fix.

It would be nice to see WNW bring out some 48th kits. As much as I like the detail in 32nd I much prefer scratching in 48th.

Everyone!
It has been a pleasure following this thread since the beginning. In your enthusiasm, you sound like a bunch of excited school boys with Dan-San in the lead!
marc
p.s. Question: as you complete wingnut models, what do you do with your old revell and aurora kits? relegate them to a lower shelf?
