Now you whiners have to stop whining and start to buy and build these kits! I really doubt that Roden will ever put out their DH9, if the DH4 or BE2c kits will not sell at all.

That's why I bought both their DH4 and BE2c .... I will build them (indeed am starting plans to convert their DH4 to an RAAF DH9A), but as far as Roden is concerned they already have my cash Oh and I bought the Mirage Halberstaldt, and I wil buy the Karaya Halberstadts...etc etc I can say that I am doing my bit to support the 1/48 cause!

I have only on 1/32 scale plane in my stash. WnW S.E.5a. My ever growing 1/48 scale stash has grow up 10 times bigger just in 6months. 1/72 scale stash is now 5 times bigger than it used to be. I'm doing my best to keep these two scales alive. I love WnW kits, buildabilty and detail, but have make one desision: I can have new WnW kit when I have finished the one I have in workbench. Otherwise my stash grows too,too big.

I'm going with Nigel over to 1/32

. . . after being completely devoted to 1/72. Most of my stash collected over the last 7-8 years will go, apart from a few planned for larger dioramas.

My build rate fits in nicely with Wingnut's new release schedule (not too quick ).

Happy Modelling

Exactly what James said. I can see me actually building Wingnuts stuff rather than sticking it in the cupboard. My 1/72 stash will be going, except some inter-war stuff.

Cheers,

Nigel

I've got a German wharf scene set in Zeebrugge half finished, which will feature a CMR Hansa Brandenburg W.12 getting ready for winching over the water. Railway wagon still to be built. Nikolai crew figures will be watching on.

Here is the inspiration:

But I've been sidetracked by WNW (temporarily?).

Yes a Macchi M5 diorama will stay on the To-Do list in 1/72, plus a Lohner seaplane diorama and one day a Jasta 19 Fokker Dr.1 lineup with Pheon decals

Sorry to hijack this thread, I'll go off and do some work on my WNW Bristol F2B. Here is a progress shot to bring us back on-topic:

Happy Modelling

Getting this thread back on track of 1/32 WnW kits,---- after having just rec'd my WS 25/5, and careful study of the pics, am surprised there is not more excitemnt over pic#12 where it states that they are working on the engine details for a future kit. Ad screen shot (it's no screen saver) in the background of pic #5, there is no doubt that the Salmson is indeed one of the future releases!!!!!!

Yep there's a Salmson on that screen. Maybe it's red herring to lead us astray!
Start looking deep into the photos in the article and it gets to be like looking for subliminal messages in print ads- sexy and violent images hidden in ice cubes and splashes in liquor ads. Turn the magazine sideways, look at it through a mirror and there's a....no.....wait- it's a ....no, not that either....
