Jet's , what are those things ?

I have tried building them , but they just don't cut the chesse with me either . I do dab a little in the WW2 aircraft but only my favorite ones .

Still waiting for the Pfalz D.IIIa to come out !

I have to admit that I do like the 50's jets, the pre century, the century series, and Naval Aviation in particular: During my deployment to Africa with the USMC I got re-interested in WWI subjects and bought a lot of them for my dad and I to build, sadly he passed away before I got back. I still find the aircraft and the era more and more interesting. I, like many on this forum, believe that this is the greatest time for modelers, as the selection and quality is stuff we could only dream of 30 years ago.
That being written, I still find myself attracted to the old Aurora/Glencoe WWI kits as they were simple and fun to build, fit well, didn't have a lot of fiddly things and looked a lot like the prototype.

If WNW is searching for a hint in depicting significant aircraft of WW1 they can more easily duplicate aircraft that remain in existence. The remaining aircraft in existence is wide and varied but it would be an absolute treat for them to dispatch a team to the Smithsonian and commit to an inspection of the splendid Caudron G 4 twin engined French bomber of 1915 that resides in the Steven V. Udvar-Hazy Center. An early war bomber that can be duplicated would be a nice representation of that period of the conflict and lend a more comprehensive completeness to the series. Same goes for the AEG G lV (lacks 260 HP Mercedes engines however)that exists at a museum in Ontario,Canada. Just wanted to interject an opinion as it seems that the series in its unfolding rollouts would really benefit from some early war craft and I see the Caudron and AEG fitting a need to see more twin engined types on the heels of the highly anticipated rollout of the Gotha G lV next year. As Dan-San alluded to a possible release of a Handley Page British bomber down the line, the addition of a twin engined French aircrfat would be divine.

Just to remind you, before you fill the gaps with your dream subjects! These D.VIIs will occupy quite a few of these kit serials, won't they?
