No rush for me. I'm holding out for a European distributor.

At the end of October I emailed WNW and asked them if the Pup and Albatros would be out in time to meet the shipping deadlines they posted on their website. Reply is below:
Hi Frank,
We are hoping and trying very hard to have the Pup and Albatros release before the end of the year.
Regards,
Dave Johnson

A VERY good point ----is there any sign of one do you know--I got stung (like everyone else i know) when I got my S.E. and 'Biff'.
Old ground i know------but bloody annoying.
Cheers,
Dave.

I have no inside info on whether or not they will use a European distributor. But lets be fair, it would be silly not to. I would imagine once the dust has settled our wish will come true.
Cheers,
Bob

Hi,
Didn't Dan-san analyze this earlier in the year and conclude that if they went with distributors the cost of a kit would pretty much double?

Not if you have a big distributor who will bring them in by the container. The only one capable of that here in the UK would have to be Hannants. Not sure who else in europe would be up to the task.

The least I'm hoping for from Wingnuts by the Christmas postage deadline is the availability of gift vouchers.
That's almost the same as having a kit.....

They're too late for me. I'm going for the Encore F1 and the Model Cellar Voss figure instead. The Pup and DV will have to wait until next year. But they will be mine....
Cheers,
Nigel

Trust me guys, we're better off letting Wingnuts solve the postage and import duty problem and buying direct from them.
The price they would have to let a distributor have the kits for (markups are considerable) would make the venture virtually non-profitmaking.
Look at the current inflated prices of Roden 1/32 kits......believe me Roden is'nt seeing that money and therefore new kit development declines.
Wingnuts have done everything in their power to produce these dreamlike kits for us - lets stop moaning and trust them to do their best for us, eh?
