Thanks to Sfabert and Dan San who confirmed me that the Siemens Schuckert visible on the BAHA site was a D IV and not as said a D III, I've realised this 1/72 kit (from Eastern Express). The actual aircraft weared no roundels on the wings, the only national marking was on the tail. Number "22" was hand-painted on the original; and the aircraft carried no weapons. It's the unique SS DIV with Belgian markings, received with a lot of Fokkers as "butin de guerre".

Sweet! Hey, if you want to show it off even more, why not send me the images direct ( mbittner@wwi-models.org) with text explaining the build, and I'll put it up on the WW1 Modeler's site.

Scimitar:
Willy Coppens was a personal friend of my wife and I. He was a very interesting individual. we first met him in think in 1970 in San Francisco. In 1972 we visited Willy in La Pan, Belgium and in 1976 in Antwerp, Belgium, at that time he was residing with Jan Oliesagers' daughter.
Willy was a remarkable individual.
Blue skies,
Dan-San

Dan San, I've read the books of Willy Coppens ("Jours envolés" and "Hélices en croix"). he was really a strong personnality, frequently in conflict with his hierarchy. It's nice you've met him.
