Thank you for comments
Przemol, the same question about the protection color on this plane is not easy to me and for sure that I am not the one who can give answer. So I am glad that you asked that, this could be good point to all modelers.
In the Eduard instructions was given to use German RLM 02 color, which is grey with shade of green. Their choice fell on Gunze Sangyo color and I have it in my stock. As well I know this color is medium green, I dont know is this choice of the same Fokker or the German industrial standard for the protection of metal parts. Anyway I have find on few places that this color is stated as medium green and I have seen for excample few build done by Stephen Lawson who use medium green color for the interior metal parts.
How this color look like it is maybe hard to say. For sure is that some relics are remained but how much they can help? In their current state I am not sure that their color value can be of direct help as well basicaly that color is of less quality then later, so this mean no resistance to sun light, chremicals and more rapidly self changing in shades. Just take in memory that green on Fokker Dr. I have changed rapidly in just weeks and become olive green. This is just sample of the quality of colors.
So first thing I have on my mind is the shade- is it really grey hue? I am sure that many dacedes after it could be grey but is this real state when the color was used on operational plane? Long time ago I have seen one sample of Fokker metal construction, built in betwwen the wars, and it is more intensive green and lighter.
Paint I use there is Vallejo acrilic color, Reflective Green color no. 090. It is medium and of enough grey and brown shade. Also reason why I use this color is because I have it. In this moment I am discard all enamel based colors and it order to keep my health I have completely switch on acrilic paints.
Hope that you are satisfied with my answer.
Cheers
