Thank you, Sreiko, for your extensive answer to my green-colour question! I have already seen such bright intensive green interpretation on some E.I-E.III models and just wanted to know if there is some new strong evidence to support this.
Once again - congratulations on a nice build!

Srecko dear fellow.

Nice work on the Fokker E.III.

I sincerely hope you are well after the recent problems. Good news! I have the Mirage Halb. CL.II in hand. I have a new computer, Jet fast and is taking some time to get use to. Text has begun on the kit review. I will try to sign in with a new profile at Letletlet since the old one appears locked. I have pulled out my references on the subject (gadzooks and hot marimba!) I had forgotten I had some of this stuff on the Halb. CL.II! Even the old Flight doc.

No it is not... contact me on email about this, it become ussual problem that USA member have that problem. Must be something from the provider side, but my site is placed on host and server in USA, so it should work smooth.

This is really Dan-San's department, but AFAIK, there was no standard color for all planes or manufacturers. I'm pretty sure color or colors varied from factory to factory, and maybe even from one batch to another. The color used on E.IIIs might have been VERY different from the color used on Fokker built D.VIIs. And that doesn't take in to account Albatros or other companies.
It's one thing to use an average color but another to state that all German protective paint is one color.
I think a good rule of thumb would be to site a specific plane, like an E.III or at least a Fokker of similar vintage, rather than generalities. Unless we know the color for E.III metal paint work then the green Sreiko used is as good as any others.
