Cowling is painted with first coat of Testors Magnesium metaliser and then polished. It is then sealed with Testors sealer for Metalisers and over is aplied streaks in Aluminium Metaliser. To note- we have no other Metaliser in Serbia so please use the best one you have available. I think dull aluminium and polished aluminium could be best mix but I have no this.

Final coat was again sealer.

Cheers

Very nice model! Metal cowling looks very interesting. Even more admiration from me for your patience not to use an airbrush and then polish the bird instead.
One question, if I may. This green on U/C struts and cabane? Where from comes the idea for this colour?
