WNW Junkers - the start

I have just begun the Wingnuts Junkers, so thought you might like to see what I have done to the Benz BZ4 engine. I added valve springs, rocker arm supports, additional plumbing, push rods, plug leads with plug lead conduit, throttle linkages. Still to come is the magneto, then it's off to the other side of the engine.

I will be leaving the engine cowling open on this build to show off the engine.

Des.

Thanks guys

Gregory, the DH-2 is complete, it now takes pride and place amid my other 1/32 WW1 aircraft.

I did some more work tonight, fitted the magneto and leads, repainted the rocker assembly and springs.

Only plug leads and conduit to be fitted on the other side of the engine, then it's on to the big bits.

Des.

Sorry about the delay with more photos but health issues stopped me from modelling for a few days. Here is what I have done so far. Most of the cockpit is complete, seat belt to be aded plus a bit of weathering.

I made four new instruments to replace the kit one. The engine and seat are only sitting loose for photo purposes.

Cheers

Des.
