bluemax182,

First off Welcome to the Aerodrome Forum.

You have stated this thread in the Upcoming Events section. I will see if I can have your thread moved to the Modeling section.

bluemax...welcome to the 'drome.

I have built a Roden DIII kit, and a total of eleven different Roden Albatros variants.

Having problems?? How can we help??

Welcome to the Aerodrome! Are you asking about the 1/72nd kit or 1/32nd?
I assume the smaller kit. I believe there have been threads here in the past about this kit. Perhaps try the search engine.

You may want to invest in a $20.00 - $23.00 optivisor. Squadron Mail Order or your local hobby shop will probably have them. Small parts are easier to work with when you can see them. Model On!

I can recommend getting a tabletop magnifier with clamps on it and a decent spotlight, also a pair of tweezers of the type which clamp shut and are squeezed to release what they are holding. Most hobby shops should have that kind of stuff.

Obviously, the magnifier makes things easier to see, the lamp does too, but the lamp also makes items easier to glue in place, since it casts a strong well defined shadow of the part, and that is helpful for judging distance and position when mating parts together as you a gluing them. Naturally the tweezers help with that too, since you can see more of the part you are holding than if you have it between your finger and thumb.
