Calling Old Man

Hello my friend---I trust you are in good health---we need to see how your Morane is progressing and miss your posts.

And your 'inbox' is full--I cannot PM you.

My best wishes and concerned at your silence,

Dave.

My first friend on the forum and a great help with the DH2 painting.
Much respect, hope you are well.

I must admit to a rising concern over Old Mans long silence---and therefore am adding this just as a way of keeping it 'up front and centre' as it were.

Dave.

If you have his name, a Google search might help eliminate the idea something drastic has occured. Might just be a computer that has gone down.

My apologies for causing any distress, my friends.

I am all right; I have been very busy, and then somewhat ill, and just generally off the internet in consequence. The whole of the details would be tedious indeed, but the capper was that we had to redo the living room over damage from a leaky roof, which kicked up a great deal of dust and such, and was followed by a long-lived cough that strikes me anyway a a walking pneumonia. This has mostly cleared up, at least enough that for a week or so I have had energy for more than coughing, which is a bout as close to fighting trim as I ever get nowadays.

Hi old man,
it is very good to hear from you my friend--though not good to hear of the misfortunes and ill health of course.

Please be assured of our very best wishes--and take your time to get fully fit---and back up to speed.

Then get to bloody work again on your Morane....

Very glad my worries were unfounded----and missed your sound judgement and good commonsense on all things...

Dave.

Thank you, Sir!

I had not noticed going over the line, but someone had enquired about cockpit differences between the B.E.2c and 2e....
