Eduard Spad XIII early DUAL COMBO 1/72, yet again...
... but it has'n been seen for a while...
Here is my current build - one of few I'm working on, therefore it's going to be a little on the slow side...
I got this box as a gift from our fellow and my dear friend Sreiko - you could see his beginning of the build at Spad XIII early combo set
I have recieved the package with the following contents (yes, there's an Fokker D.VII mixed in )

Decided to build Guynemer's and Baracca's mounts, although slightly different than in Eduards' instructions (more historically accurate, let's say)

What follows is my work

My works on the cockpit and interior:

Fuselage assembly gave me some headache - never had so much problems fitting Eduard parts together ...
Lower side of the gun emplacements (inner side of the upper fuselage part) had to be sanded because it collided with instruments on the dashboard:

Here is completed bottom part of fuselage with dashboard inserted:

Completed fuselage; it did require some corrections:

After few layers of Humbrol 74 (to remind you, always using only paintbrush) it looked nicely yellowish:

Metal parts, undercarriage and other parts of Guynemer's plane that were entitled to had recieved 2 layers of Humbrol 94 (picture is taken after the 1st one)

(Almost) everything prepared for assembly:

Baracca's plane was, as seen in Sreiko's post, already assembled and partialy painted:

Unfortunatelly it had to be cleaned in Mr. Musculo so I could paint it fresh, although it looked marvelous... Afterwards it also recieved Hu 74 on lower side:

Next step was painting of tricolore on the lower wing, after already mentioned research http://www.unosettantadue.net/conten...35/70/lang,it/ (unfortunatelly this site is out of action, at least for time being)... Upper surface recieved first layer od light green

That's about i, until next installment...

Only now I have noticed that I have already started this project on Eduard S.P.A.D. S.XIII Dual Combo 1/72...
Sorry for this... Nah, it's closed topic anyway... This one is going to be continued for sure, and in a very short time, I promise
