[WIP] Roden Staaken 1/72

Its been a while since my last post on the DH9 but its not in progress atm since i cant find a good collor sceme.
Anny way i started with building the Staaken 1/72 From Roden with Orion miniatures decals iam 3 mounths in the build atm there for i have lots of teks in Dutch to translate to ENG I hope you understand my Eng is not that good at spelling words so here goes.
All the parts that need wood grane are painted with the airbrush a coat of with primer this because the last coat is Gunze Randome tan H318

Then it was time to use Oil paints there for i made a heat box from wood and a light bulb of 100watt the drying time is then 24 hours muts faster then 7/8 days.
I made some samples of the wood i have about 30 differend kinds an dicided ill use these

Ill be using these matirals

Next step was applying the decals its a straight forward yob the decals responded well to the Daco Sol an sealed nicly to the model.

Next was to try and simulate the longenze on the inside of the fuselage so it looked like in my book of the Staaken.

Next was the window of the fuselage polished it to i shiny finsh as good as i could and is looking good imo

Then i was time to close the fuselage was kinda scared to start with it, because it didin't fit good after lots of sanding an dryfitting it worked out fine Putty was needed to make it all smooth an flush.

Aplying wood grane to the windows befort giving it a coat of Grey primer.
Next i mixed a paint looking like the one on the Orion sheet and made it a litle lighter then the actual paint chip.

Next i made a Jig for this bigass plane to support all the wings and tail this way i can make sure everything is straight and aligned.
The wings are a litle wraped and not in the correct angel so i used a blowdryer to straighten it out.
