Exclamation VCR Alert - The Dawn Patrol

The 1938 version of the film, with Errol Flynn, David Niven, and Basil Rathbone, will be aired Tuesday, April 12, 2005, on Turner Classic Movies at 10pm (Eastern time, USA). It was a remake of the 1930 version, using the same script and reusing the same flying footage.

Following it at midnight is Dodge City (1939), featuring the largest saloon fight in the history of the cinema.

Thumbs up Awesome.

This movie's great. It's one of my favorites. I wish it had more dogfight footage, but it's still awesome anyway. Tape it everybody!

I taped it for my pa so he could watch it. It's an ok movie, not much of the dogfighting movie type though. That was funny when ol' Scotty got shot down, then came and just laughed his head off with Coutney.

The flying would not be why one would watch it. It actually has a good story and some good acting. You do spend most of your time watching them talk, but it good stuff.
