Wings...
I could never remember the name but I certainly remember watching a WW1 series on 'Masterpiece Theatre', PBS Boston, during the 70's.
Is this the same series? Early training a/c, the Fokker scourge, our hero being in love with a farm girl back home?
If so, add me to the list.
BTW, any idea who played the lead?
Regards,
Maxim08

Let them know that they could sell quite a few sets right here. I remember the series well, and it was fantastic! I'm fortunate to have the book they released (paperback).
Capt. Triggers (storms into the room): "If your engine cuts out on take-off NEVER NEVER turn back!" (storms out)
Lt. Charles Gaylion: "Lord!"

And David Troughton (son of Patrick Troughton: Dr. Who 1966-69) played Richard Bravington, the gloomy Officer observor, who Alan usually piloted.
Lorna Collins was cute as well.

And Tim Woodward is the son of well known actor Edward Woodward. And yes Lorna Collins was cute, especially in the nurses uniform

More recently David Troughton was the Duke of Wellington in the Sharpe's series.
Lorna Collins was played by Sarah Porter.
