Wasn't meant as a hint I have it now - there are only 25 episodes. Still if you can find the originals at the BBC minus ads etc and get them digitalised that would be good! In fact better than good. I think if the BBC could be convinced they should release them on DVD they would certainly find a market!!

Hear, hear, Larabee!
Yes a copy of this wonderful series would certainly be appreciated by our museum as well. Something to entertain regular visitors would be a treat.

Trouble is with copyright. I had planed to make a good set for myself but I wonder where all this stands with copyright issues.

Maybe it's out of copyright now? What is the time limit for TV broadcasts I wonder?

This may or may not help with copyright...

Typical bloody BBC. Seeing as how they exist due to the largesse of the UK taxpayer via the TV licence fee, you'd expect a little more response to public demand, even from minority interests.
Want to bet they've wiped the 'Wings' tapes, like they did with most of Pete 'n' Dud's 'Not Only But Also' series?
But bless 'em in spite of all, I wouldn't be without a channel that doesn't interrupt a movie or documentary with adverts.
