Flyboys Movie clip

Its unbelievable one can find these before the movie's premier. Dogfighting sequence that is well done.

Oh man that is great! Thanks for the link.

However, I will not look at another clip of this film until I see it at the theater. I'm beginning to feel like a kid who finds his Christmas present hidden in a closet, slowly peeling away at the wrapping to see what's inside. I don't want to spoil the excitement for Christmas morning!

Certainly exciting. Not an historical record but seems to capture the spirit and color of air combat during the Great War. A fair tribute. From what I have seen of this movie I am going to enjoy it immensely. Looking forward to it.

Thanks Jan!
I sure wish my Nieuport would climb like that. I am still chasing Morane plans. The Smithsonian has nothing. On to France. I am getting close to being able to assemble the Hanriot fuse. The wing ribs are being laser cut. I will have it as a display for Dayton 07.

Even makes my skin crawl watching that.
We saw the Gotha mock-up at the studio near the end of filming, pretty neat.

BaldEagle,

were you flying in this sequence? I realized later from others that Dick was out on the sidewalk after dinner- as I didn't know what he looked like, I really hate that I didn't get a chance ot meet him. Maybe one day we can all meet up.

Cheers,

Jim
