Collection of WW1 Aviation Vids link.

Not sure if this has been posted before. Some new pics as far as I'm concerned. Narrator is either Canadian or American (As a Brit its hard for me to tell )

I found this information directly on Youtube and then went searching on the Aerodrome to see if it had been discussed. The link that Viscount posted provides a nice front end to this series of actual WWI short movies. I highly reccomend this series to those who have not seen it before.

Actually, I'm an American. (Not that I'd mind being a canadian: That country sure produced it's share of great pilots!). I had originally hoped to get Sir Laurence Olivier to narrate my film, but after my girlfriend pointed out that he's been dead for 15 years... well, i got roped into doin' it myself.

The Great War In The Air currently runs slightly more than four hours, but I designed it to be fairly modular and will probably insert some side trips as the mood strikes me.

Thumbs up

Jan (rainbase), This is truly a wonderful thing you have assembled. Your narration puts together these various clips and stills and creates something much greater than the pieces. Perhaps there is more that could be added or developed. Think of the educational value! You could take your children/ grandkids and sit them down in front of a computer and both educate and entertain them (well maybe ).
