King Kong extended edition DVD
Just purchased the recently released three disc "King Kong", which features brand new material that further reflects Peter Jacksons' passion for aircraft, and that may be of some interest. In the mammoth three hour "making of" documentary featured on the third disc can be seen more behind the scenes footage of the Helldivers in action, as well as some brief extracts of test footage and animatics for a huge World War One dogfight, planned for a version of "Kong" back in 1996. A most welcome inclusion and a tantalizing glimpse of what might have been.
