Also of intrest....
My eyes are bloodshot with the amount of time I spent on the computer yesterday. Also available at YouTube is the documentry "World War 1 in Color" which is narrarated by Kenneth Branagh and if you speak a little Deutsch there is "Im Westen Nichts Neues" and "Die Holle von Verdun".

There seems to be so many outstanding videos on Great War topics available via YouTube it is somewhat overwhelming. Still, one step at a time.

Retread,

For your information the programmes, which are actually documentaries, have all been shown on the UK History Channel over the last couple of months. Maybe they will make their way over to the States in the future.

So the History Channel in the U.K. actually deals with history? A novel idea. I think they tried it here once but it didn't really catch on.
I am glad to see that Great War subjects are being given more attention recently. These are quality documentaries.

Despite having mentioned this earlier I thought it impressive enough to link it directly. It helps if you speak at least a bit of German. However, even if you cannot utter/understand a syllable the actual and recreated footage as well as some of the computer generated graphics are a pleasure.
