I don't care if the full version is only 15 minutes long...
I'd rather have 15 minutes like this than an hour and a half of crap!

Crossing the Line
This film was made at Easter 2007. I heard of it then and saw the short piece on U-Tube. I was priviliged to view the whole film on the big screen this year. Peter was dismissive, but it is a minor masterpiece.
They had the camera for trials and in a short space of time found an area in New Zealand that they bulldozed to represent the front. They had the uniforms, the British tank, and the aircraft and weapons.
It was shot in a short time and then the area was reinstated so that you would never know what had happened there.
THe Bristol Fighter and S.E.5a (I think) play a good part in it as does the Teddy Bear!
Like I said, a masterpiece.

Being an WWI aviation afficionado Mr Jackson is rumored to roam these forums ...
Perhaps if reads this he'll put the whole 15 minutes on Youtube?
While we're at it : Mr Jackson could you please, please make us a decent WWI aviation movie???

As far as I heard, the plans exist to make a WW I movie, but it will need some time...
Someone over here seems to know more about it !

We'll just have to keep our hopes up and be patient...
Unless "someone over here" wants to spill the beans

Does anyone know if the full 15 min version is/will be made available? I love the short preview - the Bristol Fighter bit always gets me going!

At least the triplane wasn't red like all the German planes in Flyboys.
