I haven't found any US sources although as described it was filmed in English and several descriptions of the DVD indicate that it has both German and English language. As best as I can tell it hasn't been released outside of Germany. It looks like the it didn't go over that well outside of that audience of people like me who will even watch the worst movies if it has some WWI aviation content. Given that movie companies will milk even a slug for the last penny I expect that it will eventually be released in the US. I did find it available on eBay Germany for about ten Euros plus shipping. I don't know if US eBay passwords will work on eBay Germany, When my work place blocked eBay US I used to go to eBay Canada or even eBay Ireland or England to check my listings so if you find a seller that ship internationally one should be able to buy a copy.

DVD from Germany
When it arrives write us up a review. If it has an English language selection or if it has English subtitles I would bet that Amazon Deutchland will sell a few copies.

Okay, thanks guys. I'll just wait and hope Amazon U.S. gets it. I'm with Mgnostic, as I'll buy anything with WWI aviation content.

I got mine in from Amazon De. I spent the extra for the 2 day shipping. I now cant fine a single DVD player in my house to play it. I tried to find a code free on my dvd players but no. Now I have spent $65.00 and I am pissed. I wish Hollywood would have just given us here in the states to from our own opinion if we wanted to watch it or not.

Mate,
Fortunately I have a handy dandy cheap DVD portable player that does PAL. and it does not cost an arm and a leg to own - you can get them on the internet.
and by the way
Welcome to the flagship of the Aerodrome - where the greatest minds on the planet get together and talk about their favorite subject - WW1.

Does you computer have a DVD player? You may be able to download a media player that will run it.

PAL DVD Player
A tip for TSHARK 203: I purchased my PAL DVD player from GLVC template. It's a converted Coby DVD player. Never heard of the brand, but it works just fine. The price is $99 + $11 shipping/handling.
If you do get a computer with a DVD player you can also consider what I've done. My computer is set to play PAL videos. One can only change the region 4 times, but that's alright. I purchased an external DVD drive which I use for our NTSC DVDs. Plugs right into a USB port.
If it's any consolation, you may find some further use for your investment, even if you don't normally order German films. For instance, I recently purchased "1984" (based on the Orwell novel) for about $25 on PAL DVD because it's out of print on NTSC. I saw NTSC copies going for as high as $175.
